Wendel Rosen Continues Growth with Addition of Employment Partner Tammy A. Brown

September 10, 2019

Oakland, California

Wendel Rosen LLP, the largest law firm in the East Bay representing businesses throughout the state, has added Tammy A. Brown as a partner and chair of its Employment Group.

“As we eye continuing expansion in response to our clients’ evolving needs, we’ve sought out talented, business-minded lawyers, like Tammy, who have mastered unique approaches to partnering with clients,” said Managing Partner Daniel Rapaport. “With more than 20 years of experience, Tammy's deep knowledge of employment law shines, but it’s her soft skills in dealing with people and her keen insight into workplace processes that really set her apart.”

A multi-faceted employment law leader, Brown has more than two decades of litigation experience defending both public and private employers in single-plaintiff and class action cases, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour claims and other employment-related issues. She leverages her “insider” understanding and communications skills, gained in the corporate legal and HR setting, to advise employers on a variety of matters and to conduct efficient and effective workplace investigations. Brown also provides employee training.

Joining the firm from Foster Employment Law in Oakland, Brown has also worked as a compliance analyst for an international defense contractor, investigating alleged violations of company policy and security requirements. She earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (1994) and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley (1987).
