ABOLITION OF PAYMENT BY VOUCHERS AND OF THE BENEFIT OF THE PRIOR ENFORCEMENT ON THE CONTRACTOR’S ASSETS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE EMPLOYER’S JOINT LIABILITY WITH THE CONTRACTOR WITHIN PROCUREMENT
April 11, 2017On 17th March 2017, the Government issued and published in the Official Gazette the Law Decree No. 25/2017 bearing “Urgent measures for the abrogation of norms on ancillary casual labour and for the amendment of the employer’s joint liability with the contractor within procurement contracts”. The Law Decree has abolished vouchers as mean of payment for ancillary casual work and has abrogated the procedural benefit – for the employer – of the prior enforcement on the contractor’s assets in case of application of the employer’s joint liability with the contractor within procurement contracts.
