Aronberg Goldgehn Attorneys Introduce Vision 2020 to the Community

Chicago law firm Aronberg Goldgehn Davis & Garmisa played a key role in bringing the national gender equality initiative known as “Vision 2020” to Chicago, when it successfully  held its Second Annual Congress  in the city earlier this month.   More than 120 prominent women business and public sector leaders from throughout the country attended the Congress and served as delegates from their respective states.

Firm member Cynde Munzer and ComEd President Anne Pramaggiore served as co-chairs of the Chicago Host Committee for the Congress. Firm attorneys Mary Vidal Hays, Blooma Stark, Katie Attebery, Jillian Cole, Jacqueline Helmrick, Angela Morrison, Amy Rapoport and Brianna Sansone were actively involved in this initiative as members of the Chicago Host Committee, and helped welcome the participants to Chicago.

“Our firm, which has a strong commitment to mentoring and advancing women, has been proud to play a leading role in this important ongoing ten-year initiative, and appreciates the opportunity to work so closely with the many prominent women leaders from throughout the country who are involved in this project”, noted Munzer.  She and the firm will continue to participate in this initiative through her role as a Vision 2020 Liaison to the American Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession.

Vision 2020 was launched last year by Drexel University’s College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Vision 2020’s 10-year action agenda is working to bring the entire country closer to gender equality by 2020 to mark the centennial of the 19th amendment.  For more details on Vision 2020 and to get involved, please visit http://www.drexel.edu/vision2020/get_involved
