Mahima Kheterpal Joins Wendel Rosen’s Business Practice Group

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 6, 2015 – Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP, one of the oldest and largest law firms in the East Bay, welcomes Mahima Kheterpal as an associate to its Business Practice Group. Kheterpal was most recently an attorney with the Reddy Law Firm in Fremont, Calif.

 

“Mahima’s experience fits squarely in with our core business offerings, including working with emerging and established businesses throughout the Easy Bay and beyond in industries ranging from manufacturing to technology to restaurant and hospitality operations,” said Managing Partner Richard Waxman. “We are excited to add her to our ever-growing team.”

 

Kheterpal’s practice will focus on working with clients on a range of general business issues, including incorporation, bylaws, compliance with corporate and employment laws, securities law and tax considerations. She also has experience working on agreements for stock options and stock purchases, joint ventures, master services, acquisitions and development and distribution.

 

Kheterpal serves as a board member and events committee co-chair for the South Asian Bar Association and was selected for the 2015 class of the Annual Barristers Leadership Program through the Santa Clara County Bar Association. She earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School (2014), where she served as submissions editor for the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender and Society. Kheterpal holds a Masters in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi (2008) and a B.A. in Sociology with a minor/subsidiary in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi (2006).
