Wendel Rosen Adds to Robust Real Estate and Trusts and Estates Practice Areas
OAKLAND, Calif., June 4, 2015 – Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP, one of the largest law firms in the East Bay representing businesses throughout the region, welcomes Stephen Brindle and Kevin Rodriguez as associates to its Real Estate and Trusts and Estates Practice Groups, respectively.

Brindle joins Wendel Rosen from an in-house position at Gap Inc. in San Francisco, where he was a contract attorney for the company’s fleet of stores throughout North America. His experience includes negotiating and drafting retail leases and amendments, as well as real estate litigation. He is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco. Brindle earned his J.D., with honors, from Golden Gate University School of Law (2010) and his B.A. in Literature from the University of California Santa Cruz (2003).
Most recently a trusts and estates litigation associate at Hopkins & Carley in San Jose and Palo Alto, Rodriguez represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries and nonprofit organizations in contested trust, estate, conservatorship and elder abuse matters. While Rodriguez now focuses his practice squarely on litigation matters, he also has an extensive background as a trust, estate and tax planning attorney and experience in tax, real estate, business and intellectual property litigation. He is a member of the East Bay Trust and Estates Lawyers, the Bar Association of San Francisco, the Silicon Valley Bar Association, the San Mateo County Bar Association, the Peninsula Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Forum. Rodriguez received his L.L.M. in Taxation, with high honors, from Golden Gate University School of Law (2009) and his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (2005) and his B.S.C. in Economics from Santa Clara University (2000).
