Procopio Congratulates Jamie Quient on Being Recognized by the City of San Diego for her Work in Combatting Human Trafficking
San Diego, CA – Procopio is excited to announce that associate Jamie Quient has been selected to receive a Human Relations Commission Commendation on behalf of the City of San Diego’s Human Relations Commission in recognition of her leadership in combating human trafficking of women and girls in the San Diego area. Jamie will be honored this evening, November 18th, at a recognition ceremony and reception at the San Diego Public Library.
It is the mission of the Human Relation Commission to protect basic human and civil rights, promote activities that foster mutual respect, understanding and dignity and further equality across the San Diego community. One of their top priorities is raising awareness about human trafficking. Jamie launched the Lawyers Club Human Trafficking Task Force to identify ways to combat this issue and has represented victims herself. Her work toward this cause has been a significant contribution.
