Marvell Develops its Tax Law Department with the Nomination of Guillaume Masse and Emmanuelle Sorine as Partners
Guillaume Massé, previously Counsel at Marvell, specialises in tax law and is involved with company restructuring and tax structuring. He advises clients in connection with structuring of management packages and optimisation of mandatory levies for internationally mobile directors and company owners. He has also developed a recognised expertise in research tax credit and parafiscal taxes litigation.
Emmanuelle Sorine joined Marvell recently, where she contributes her significant experience as in-house tax director at Pathé. This allowed her to develop a strong expertise in corporate tax, both generally and in the field of mergers & acquisitions. In close collaboration with the corporate department, she advises corporate clients and company owners and directors in connection with tax inspections and restructuring projects with a global and pragmatic approach.
These two new partners will jointly lead Marvell’s tax department.
Jean-Louis Lasseri, Managing Partner of Marvell, comments: « We are delighted with these two new partner promotions. The tax department has been an integral part of the firm since its creation. The promotion of Emmanuelle and Guillaume will allow the department to combine its existing support role to Marvell’s other departments, with an increasing lead role as an integrated tax team. Their complementary abilities will allow us to better support our clients in regards to their taxation matters.»
Marvell currently numbers almost 40 lawyers, including 12 partners. Marvell intends to pursue the development of the firm in 2014 with new recruitments.
