Podvey Meanor Launches New Website

Over the weekend of January 18th and 19th LNA member Podvey Meanor (Newark, New Jersey, USA) launched its newly revised and updated website. The new site replaces a site that had been in continuous operation for more than ten years, with various face-lifts and upgrades.
“We felt it was time to completely re-design and re-engineer the site,” says Greg Miller, Managing Director of Podvey Meanor. “We didn’t want it to look and act like every other law firm website and we wanted to take advantage of new technologies in ways that our old site could not accommodate.”
Based on a WordPress platform, the site includes the mandatory information about the firm’s lawyers and practice areas but also has a Blog integrated into the site. Social media links are also incorporated (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) including a “Twitter Feed” that updates automatically from the firm’s Twitter account. The site has a sophisticated content management system that allows the firm to update, revise and categorize information and link to outside sources, enabling us to optimize the site for search engines like Google.
“Our strategic plan calls for us to engage more actively with the legal and business communities and with clients and potential clients as we go forward,” Miller says. “The integrated Blog, in particular, will challenge our attorneys to be more proactive on the issues and keep us on the cutting edge.”
