For the fifth time, Scott was invited to speak to this elite gathering of in-house counsel from leading corporations, including Ford Motor Company, Bayer Corporation, Pfizer, and J.P Morgan Chase. His panel topics included “Controlling Litigation Costs Through Early Resolution Strategies”, and “Ethical Considerations in Alternative Fee Arrangements.” Scott’s assessment of the Forum was, as usual, positive: “The ACI Forum provides a great opportunity to share tips and know-how among in-house and outside counsel, on diverse subjects such as budgeting, out-sourcing, and alternative fee arrangements. ‘Value’ is the key to every law firm’s success, and maximizing a lawyer’s value to his or her client is a constantly evolving process."
