Scott C. Paton to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Civil Appeals Settlement Program

McNamee, Lochner, Titus & Williams P.C. attorney Scott C. Paton has been appointed to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Civil Appeals Settlement Program (CASP) of the State of New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, Third Department. The three year appointment runs through December 31, 2015.

Since its inception, CASP has brought about peaceful resolution of disputes for litigants by successfully settling thousands of pending matters. The newly created advisory committee has been established for the purpose of meeting annually to propose and discuss recommendations for enhancements of the program.

Mr. Paton enjoys a significant appellate practice in both State and Federal courts. At the trial level, Mr. Paton’s practice includes employment litigation, non-compete litigation, commercial litigation, and business disputes. For commercial clients, Mr. Paton provides litigation services to local, statewide, national and international companies in the areas of contract law, construction law, and labor law. Mr. Paton also represents individuals in complex civil litigation involving catastrophic personal injury, property damage or economic loss.
