McNamee Attorney John Privitera Provides Pro Bono Support for St. Regis Mohawk Tribe in $20.3M Settlement

Environmental Attorney John Privitera provided pro-bono counsel for the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe in the recently announced $20.3 Million settlements for natural resource damage in the St. Lawrence River Area.

The case took over 20 years to develop, involved multiple federal and state agencies, and for which John created the theory of cultural restoration that was the basis for a significant portion of the settlement.  This theory is landmark in defining economic value for cultural loss due to injuries to natural resources.
