San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program Honors Procopio as 2012 Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year

San Diego, CA – The San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP), a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide free legal services in civil matters to indigent individuals, families, and group, announced that it will be honoring Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP as 2012 Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year at their annual “Justice For All Celebration” on September 13, 2012 at the San Diego Museum of Man.
Procopio will be recognized for their numerous hours of pro bono legal representation of SDVLP clients, including but not limited to the homeless, abused children, domestic violence victims, elder abuse victims, veterans, immigrants, and HIV/AIDS sufferers.
“Starting with Alec Cory’s role as a founding father of SDVLP and continuing through Procopio’s Jeff Isaacs’ outstanding service as President of the organization, we have been passionate supporters of SDVLP and its mission of providing justice to the underserved.
