Procopio Moves into New Space in Del Mar Heights

San Diego, CA – Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP announced today that it has acquired new office space in Del Mar Heights at the One Del Mar building located at 12544 High Bluff Drive, Suite 300. Procopio initially expanded its geographic reach into the area in February of 2012 when it temporarily took over the former Luce Forward space, but has now settled into a larger and more permanent location as of May 2012.
Dennis J. Doucette, Jason A. Femrite, and Eli W. Mansour, corporate attorneys who have been in Del Mar Heights since joining the firm in February, are joined by fellow members of the corporate team, John P. Cleary, Paul B. Johnson, and Roger C. Rappoport, as well as intellectual property attorneys, Noel C. Gillespie, Aubrey A. Haddach, Patrick J. Lavender, and Pattric J. Rawlins. Effective in July, Procopio’s Construction Practice Group, consisting of ten attorneys, and commercial litigator Edward C. Walton will also take residence in the new location.
“The recent growth in our downtown office has been striking,” said Procopio managing partner Tom Turner. “In just over two years in our wonderful new space, we have essentially filled it to the brim. While we recently expanded our space and extended our lease in Carlsbad, our available expansion space there is limited as well. Of course this is the kind of problem you like to have and Del Mar Heights provides a fabulous solution for us.”
The new space, consisting of 29,000 square feet, was previously occupied by Baker & McKenzie, which recently closed its San Diego office. Said Turner, “this is a terrific financial deal for us; it also ties in perfectly with our strategic growth plan, particularly for our corporate, emerging growth, and intellectual property practices.”
