Nicholas Missad Joins Law Weathers
Law Weathers is pleased to announce that Nicholas Missad has joined the firm, effective May 2012. Nick brings extensive experience in both criminal defense and divorce and family law to the firm.
Nick is known as an assertive divorce attorney, focusing his practice on complex and high profile divorce cases, custody matters and domestic relations. He regularly provides services for other attorneys on arbitration and mediation proceedings.
For more than 25 years, Nick has provided felony and misdemeanor representation through state and federal courts as well as counsel on driver’s license restoration through the state appeals process. His background includes representing inmates charged with crimes perpetrated in the prison system of Ionia County.
A native of Grand Rapids, Nick is a member of the Ionia County Bar Association and has served as president and family law section chair. He is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and Michigan Bar Association. After attending Michigan State University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Nick worked in both private practice and for another leading Michigan law firm.
