Henson & Efron Hosting Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel's Lunch & Learn
3/13/2012 12:00 PM-01:00 PM
St. Louis Park, MN
Henson & Efron will host the Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel's March 13 Lunch and Learn. Attorneys Scott Hagel and Jennie Clarke will be speaking on "Beyond Boilerplate: Advanced Supply Contract Negotiations and How Contractual Liability Provisions can Protect your Company." The seminar will focus on the fact that most contractual disputes do not place a business at great risk. However, in the face of large claims or catastrophic events, the liability provisions of a contract can have a real and significant impact on the allocation of risk among contracting parties. In the challenging world of in-house counsel where quick turnaround is the norm, these clauses can be viewed as customary or even “boilerplate” and might be accepted without revision or negotiation. We will explain how paying attention to these provisions can protect your company.
This Lunch and Learn is worth 1 CLE credit and will be held from 12 Noon until 1:00 p.m. at The Metropolitan in St. Louis Park, Minn. Those interested in attending can find more information at http://www.acc.com/chapters/minn/index.cfm?eventID=12053 or can call the Minnesota Association of Corporate Counsel at 952-447-1458.
